Place branding for one of the hidden treasures of Denmark

The Limfjord boasts some of Europe's finest shellfish. For many years, these delicacies were exported and sold outside the region, but lately, they have been making a bigger splash closer to home. As the perfect seafood destination, Morsø Kommune now has a visual and digital hub for local restaurants, fishermen, traders, and food events rooted in the western part of the Limfjord.

The visual identity emphasizes the provenance of the shellfish shores with historical references to Østerskompagniet, the distinctive registration marks on Danish fishing boats, and graphic elements inspired by the coastline.

Along with the visual identity, we’ve created a digital platform that consolidates events and knowledge in one place. The website invites people to explore the treasures and heritage of the Limfjord and discover the many benefits of shellfish.
