Type services
Custom brand typefaces
We create typefaces for brands that need greater distinctiveness, consistency and control across a growing number of teams, markets and applications. Shaped by the character of the brand and the demands of where and how it needs to work.
Custom UI fonts
We create typefaces for digital products and interfaces where clarity, consistency and character need to work together. Optimised for screen use, technical platforms and web performance.
Language extensions
We extend custom typefaces for brands that need to work across additional languages and writing systems. Developed with specialist designers where needed, while preserving the character and coherence of the original.
Font engineering
We solve technical challenges in fonts and optimise them for specific platforms and applications — from variable fonts and file formats to features and web performance.
Proces
01 Research & definition
We define the visual direction, functional requirements, character set, languages, formats and environments the typeface needs to support.
02 Concept & prototyping
Promising directions are developed into installable prototypes and tested in relevant brand applications. This makes feedback concrete early in the process.
03 Design & production
The selected concept is developed into a complete family. Characters, spacing, kerning and OpenType features are refined through ongoing reviews.
04 Test & delivery
The final fonts are tested, technically validated and prepared for their intended platforms, formats and methods of distribution.
