Founded in 1928 DJH - Den Jyske Håndværkerskole - is an independent vocational college with a long tradition of cultivating and educating students. With a vision of being one of Europe's best vocational colleges DJH needed a brand identity to reflect the high level of ambition both professionally and on behalf of the individual.

We created a visual identity and a custom brand typeface that is both anchored in DJH's historical pride and traditions and at the same time reflects their innovative profile. The identity represents DJH as a unified institution with a clear overall campus identity and sub identities representing the four individual fields of study.

Visual hierarchy

The four fields of study - Wood, Electricity, Refrigeration and Plastic - are represented by four abstract graphic elements. Depending on the context the elements can be used separately or linked together and across the overall visual campus identity.
