“Grim” means ugly in Danish, and Grim Fest is a music festival for upcoming and trending bands, mainly from Denmark. The festival’s atmosphere is more like a huge garden party than a streamlined mainstream festival. We created an “ugly” and dynamic identity that can change year after year without losing the core values and recognisability thought in to the original design.

We say it is ugly like an octopus.  Able to adapt to its surroundings without losing its basic ugliness in the process.
